Merrill E. Graham, LMSW, CSW, RPT
Merrill is a Master's level clinician providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, teens, and adults.

Expertise
Merrill has extensive experience providing therapeutic services to children, teens, and adults in the areas of depression and anxiety, trauma, sexual abuse, grief and loss, anger management, divorce adjustment, family conflict, and parenting support.

Merrill is also a Registered Play Therapist in the State of Michigan, and is a Committee Chairperson for the Michigan Association of Play Therapy. As a play therapist, she specializes in providing children with a developmentally-appropriate way in which to express themselves and process issues.

As a child specialist, Merrill treats issues such as anxiety and depression, trauma, sexual abuse, divorce adjustment, and anger management.

Merrill is certified as an EMDR therapist, and offers EMDR services for those wishing to address trauma, depression and/or anxiety. EMDR has been rated as being highly effective for the treatment of trauma, and is endorsed by The American Psychiatric Association and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Merrill is also a State Court certified Domestic Relations Mediator. As such, she offers mediation services for parties interested in creating their own agreements about their divorce, custody, visitation, and assets.

This is done without going to court, without a destructive legal battle, and without the anger and resentment that often builds during the divorce process. It allows parties to come to their own agreements about what is best for them and their children.

Merrill is available to see clients at the Northland Drive office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Evening appointments are available.
